As each character’s journey unfurls and overlaps, deceit and misunderstandings fueled by obsession and prejudice are revealed, forcing all to reckon with the ways in which their beliefs and actions contributed to a horrifying catastrophe.

Jag valde att lyssna på just denna bok för den var en av Asha från Reading with Tobys 2022 års favoritböcker. Sen blev jag fascinerad av den, för jag tog inte reda på vad den handlade om innan, så även det som står ovan som beskrivning visste jag inte om då jag började läsa den, men efter en liten knacklig start så fastnade jag för historien och gillade den mycket och jag var verkligen nyfiken på vad som skulle/hade hänt.

Problemen med koncentrationen och veta vad jag hade lyssnat på i början berodde på att jag var trött och jag hade svårt att hänga med vad boken handlade om då jag lyssnade på den, men efter att ha lyssnat om från de ställen jag hade somnat ifrån den och sen efter jag kom in i handlingen med escaperooms-huset så var jag fast.
