Har gillat denna serie från början, både för den HBTQ+ paren och för handlingen med varulvar. Spännande och het på samma gång. Jag gillar att få lyssna på den här boken/serien, för den funkar rätt bra som ljudbok. Det händer ju en del men det är inte svårt att hålla koncentrationen upp under läsningen.

 Läste (lyssnade på) första delen för några månader sedan, och gillade boken mycket så det var en uppskattad återkomst till den här världen. Jag hade saknat dem och jag njöt av att få läsa om den här vargflocken igen.

En del av handlingen berättas på nytt men ur andra synvinklar så det gör mig inte så mycket utan det var bara roligt att knyta nya vänskapsband med berättelsen.

Och som ljudbok är den tillräckligt underhållande och spännande så att jag har inga problem med att hålla koncentrationen uppe under tiden jag lyssnar på den.

Läste för många gånger den första upplagan av den här boken då översatt till svenska under titeln Drömfångaren. Nu då jag har tänkt att fortsatta läsa vidare i serien och författaren gått ut med att hon har skrivit om, reviderat sitt första manus och det kan finnas ändringar som gör att det kan finnas ändringar som gör att förståelsen och upplevelsen av hela historien kan bli annorlunda om man inte läser det senaste omgjorda berättelsen, kände jag att jag ville börja om från början att läsa den här serien. Det kommer ju även att medföra att jag måste läsa om del två i den här nya rediverade upplagan innan jag kan läsa den tredje delen utan att ha läst den innan för att få veta vad som ska hända vidare med Paige och de andra.

Nu var det ju så många år sedan som jag hade läst den förra gången att det bara kändes roligt att läsa om för att än en gång få lära känna karaktärerna och den här världen som jag gillat sedan tidigare. Sedan var det ju inte så att jag inte hade glömt bort som hände men har ändå svårt att sätta fingret på vad som är ändrat. Jag råkade även ha missat och glömt ett par viktiga punkter som skedde i slutet av boken så jag blev överraskad även om jag mindes det ändå. 

Manga jag läste under April / 2025

 Jag känner som om de olika fysiska Manga böcker jag läser att jag inte vill göra enskilda inlägg för varje en utan att jag gör sådana här sammanfattnigar. Och nu har jag läst en hel del under april så jag gör en för månaden.

Det här var en serie jag har hört mycket gott om så då var det intressant att se att de fanns att låna från biblioteket.

Jag har alltid gillat den romerska mytologin så det här var intressant att läsa. Kul med serieroman och påhittat hur Hades och Peresephone träffas och lär känna varandra och deras romance. Och det finns lite humorinslag med övriga "känd" karaktärer.

Det enda som stör mig lite är att jag är inte helt vän med illustationerna .... 

Wolfsong (Green Creak #1) av T J Klune

Denna har jag hört mycke tgott om från flera booktubers (mest sådan som läser romance) skulle vara bra.

Och jag håller med dem nu när jag och Evelina valde att läsa den, även om vi inte har varit riktigt så förtjusta som vi skulle ha velat om författarens The cerulean chronicle-böcker.

Denna var riktigt bra, jag blir fascinerad av både Ox och de andra i Bennett flocken. Det är intressanta karaktärer och handlingen är bra.

Så bra att även om det kanske inte är välrdens bästa bok att lyssna på som ljudbok, då det finns mycket text som innehåller inre dialoger och dialog mellan flock som man som måste förstå för att veta vad som är vad. Är en bra uppläsare för jag kunde höra och förstå, för i den fysiska boken sa Evelina att det var kursiv och man kunde se hur det var skrivit med nästan inte mellanrum mellan orden och inga skiljetecken (om jag minns rätt vad hon beskrev det som).

Somewhere beyond the sea (Cerulean chronicle #2) av T J Klune

Det här är fortsättnningen på The house in the cerulean sea som jag läste för ett tag sedean.

Det var kul att få återknyta bekantskapen med Arthur, Linus och barnen. Jag gillar de magiska elementen och berättelsen överlag men det kan bli lite för mycket ibland.

Speciellt denna har en dedikation till transpseroner som jag verkligen gillar. Fick mig lite tårögd då jag läste den.

Däremot rekommenderar jag inte riktigt ljudboken, den är inte svår att hänga med i och jag är fst i handlingen det jag lyssnar på den då jag inte läste i den fysiska boken. Men uppläsaren förställer rösten och gör flera av barnen så som det kryper i mig, det är inte alls bra gjort utan det blir för mycket förställande av rösten.

Nu undrar jag om det kommer fler delar i denna serie eller om det var avslutande från och med den här, för det skulle det kunna vara för alla trådar knöts ihop och det var ett tillfredsställande slut.

Vet nästan inte vad jag ska skriva om den här boken, då det är en avslutande del i en triologi som ingår i en serie och i den serien som kallas Shadowhunter räknas detta som bok 14, utan risk att spoila någon.

Jag är rätt fast i serien och gillar att läsa om alla karaktärerna och se vad som pågår mellan dem och i världen de lever i. Jag ser fram emot att få läsa vidare då boken som står på tur nu handlar om ett av de par jag som jag starkt gillar, Malec.

Men jag ser även fram till den sista och avslutande triologin om jag förstår författaren rätt kommer om något år och som ska handla om karaktärer som jag fick lära känna i denna triologi och verkligen ser framemot att läsa om.

Även om den här boken på 870 sidor tog tid att läsa så njöt jag av varje minut och jag tyckte boken tog slut för snabbt.

Den absoluta Sandman vol 1 av Neil Gaiman

 

Detta magnifika och storslagna verk gjorde Neil Gaiman till en av serievärldens viktigaste författare. SANDMAN handlar om den odödliga personifieringen Dream/Sandman som vaknar upp i en källare 1916, fångad av ett ockult sällskap. För första gången ges nu SANDMAN ut på svenska i samlad form, i en 624 sidor tjock volym, under titeln DEN ABSOLUTA SANDMAN med förord av redaktören Paul Levitz och efterord av författaren Neil Gaiman själv.

Gaimans grafiska roman-serie har jag vetat om länge och velat läsa och nu när jag sett att Netflix har gjort den som TV-serie ville jag ju se den med. Och då jag sen upptäckte att den här storslagna samlingen fanns på mitt bibliotek kunde jag ju inte låta bli att låna och läsa.

Det  var intressant att i slutet få en hel del anteckningar och annat intressant av författaren om hans verk i slutet efter att ha läst flera av det grafiska seriealbumen hopslagna.

Jag är intresserad att läsa fler av dem, men jag känner ju inte för att köpa och biblioteket har inte fler delar, men jag kanske inte behöver läsa dem utan jag kanske kan bara se på TV-serien för att få reda på hur historien fortsätter.

Manga som jag har läst under sommaren

Då var det dags igen för ett ihopsamlat recensisonsinlägg med manga jag läste under sommaren sen majmånad. Inte lika mycket som jag läst tidigare i år, men en hel del av de olika serierna som jag påbörjade läsa under december som jag vill läsa mer ur och har fortsatt att läsa detta år.
