Denna valde jag lite att lyssna på för att den stod kategoriserad som steampunk, för jag var nyfiken på genren. Fast jag tyckte mera att den var en paranormal romance/erotica, för den handlade om blodsugande Blue Blood, varulvar och vampyrer. Och jag vet inte var väl inte helt förtjust i den, även om jag kan säga att jag tyckte den var läsvärd, och hade en bra historia och intressanta karaktärer, men något saknades för jag skulle bli så där fast i berättelsen.

Som ljudbok fungerade den bra, höll mig från att tappa bort koncentrationen på den eller somna från den mer ändå jag var rejält trött och sömnen tog över.

Denna har jag hört mycke tgott om från flera booktubers (mest sådan som läser romance) skulle vara bra.

Och jag håller med dem nu när jag och Evelina valde att läsa den, även om vi inte har varit riktigt så förtjusta som vi skulle ha velat om författarens The cerulean chronicle-böcker.

Denna var riktigt bra, jag blir fascinerad av både Ox och de andra i Bennett flocken. Det är intressanta karaktärer och handlingen är bra.

Så bra att även om det kanske inte är välrdens bästa bok att lyssna på som ljudbok, då det finns mycket text som innehåller inre dialoger och dialog mellan flock som man som måste förstå för att veta vad som är vad. Är en bra uppläsare för jag kunde höra och förstå, för i den fysiska boken sa Evelina att det var kursiv och man kunde se hur det var skrivit med nästan inte mellanrum mellan orden och inga skiljetecken (om jag minns rätt vad hon beskrev det som).

Den  här bara dök upp då jag skulle välj en ny ljudbok. Hade ingen mer tanke på än att jag vill ha något lite åt mera erotik hållet då jag letade.

Den här var tillräckligt för att få mig intresserad av mer än bara erotikhandlingen, för jag tyckte Mason och Lucy och de övriga karktärerna från Masons flock (pack) var intressanta att lyssna på, men inte så mycket mera som läsupplevelse.

Romance (erotik) som jag läste 2022

Under 2022 började jag läsa mer romance-romaner än vad jag har gjort. Jag läste en del som tonåring men tror sen att jag förläste mig lite på genren då, och fram tills nu inte helt varit helt in på denna genre. Men efter att ha börjat se en hel del booktubers som talat om dem så blev jag lite nyfiken och började läsa några för att se vad genren innehöll och vad jag gillade.

Ska då säga att att det har både blivit "hit and miss" med vad jag läst, och jag kan se att en gay-romance och en paranormal romance kan gå hem, medans för erotiska berättelser kan bli för mycket.

Jag har under året som gått recenserat en del av böckerna jag läst med enskilda recensioner men även med sammanställda inlägg på vad jag läst, detta hände mera i början av året för sen under senare delen av året läste jag mycket mindre. Så tänkte här först skriva in länkarna till de recensioner av romance-romaner jag gjort under året som gått, och sen följa upp med de böcker jag ännu inte har redovisat någonstans, många av dessa böcker skriver jag inte så mycket om då jag inte har haft så mycket att säga om dem, och det är därför de ännu inte har blivit recenserade på bloggen.

 För i år har jag börjat skriva ett inlägg månadsvis som jag inte har gjort förut, och det är vad för romance/erotik-böcker jag läst under månaden, som jag inte tycker att jag kan skriva ett helt inlägg för ensiklt, just för att det inte är något som jag känner är tillräckligt "fint" att skriva om eller att jag inte har tillräckligt att säga om var bok så att säga.

De två första delarna ur en gay-pranormal (vaulv)- romance som jag har lyssnat på och gillat en del då jag blev fascinerad av handlingen runt om med homfobiska föräldrar och andra människor, och unga män som älskar och bryr sig om andra och varandra plus vad som i övrigt händer i dem.

Kommer läsa vidare i serien i framtiden.

I also spend a lot of time avoiding Gideon Bailey, the demon I had a one-night stand with right before I took this job. He hates me, and I really want to avoid being murdered. But I've been offered a promotion that will mean working with him, so we're both going to have to get over it.

Plus people going missing. Pregnant people. And the word is that someone dabbling in genetic experimentation. Putting a stop to that is more important than the sexual tension that Gideon and I have ignoring ...isin´t it?

Har verkligen fastnat för gay(M/M)-paranormal-fantasy-romance nu i början av januari, det var så enkelt att ligga att lyssna på då jag blev sängliggande med ryggproblem.

Sen kan jag känna mig förvånad att jag var så underhållen av den då just den kategorin av romaner tidigare har varit något jag har haft svårt för, men vad jag tror är att det inte alltid var en sådan tyngdpunkt på romansdelen utan historien runt om och den intresserade mig då jag är en stor fantasyläsare och gillar den genren. Sen en annan sak som förhöjde läsningen var de humoristiska delarna i romanen, jag minns ett ställe där jag knappt kunde hålla mig för att skratta högt rakt ut i flera minuter för scenen som det gällde var rätt lång (nästan en helt kapitel).

Här var dock uppläsaren lite för tillskruvad i vissa ställen, men det förhöjde dock de humoristiska delarna men var lite jobbig i övrigt, men då jag var så fast i historien så gjorde det mig inte mycket.

Denna fick bli min avslutning på julboksberättelser för denna julen, och detta blev en paranormal-fantasy-romance ljudbok, med sexiga varulvar och kärlek. Jag är som sagt fascinerad att jag gillar att läsa romans-romaner som jag gör, fick inspiration att runt slutet av december se på booktubern Noveltea corners videos då hon läser och tipsar om många romance-böcker hon har läst, då jag egentligen inte är så inne på att just läsa romans-romaner. Det jag inte gillar är att jag kan tycka att många av dessa romaner då de ska beskriva de mer intima och heta scenerna använder ett språk jag inte känner mig bekväm med, men de flesta av de som hon rekommenderat har inte gjort det plus att det har varit intressanta historier runt omkring som har fångat mitt intresse, som har gjort att jag har gillat många av dem mycket mer än jag trott från innan jag läste dem. Denna lyssnade jag på och den är inte dålig men den som jag har tyckt sämst av, då jag bara ger den ett medelbetyg.

Denna bok är en lite mer fristående del i Mismatched mates serien, än de två första delarna var som jag läste/lyssnade på tidigare i år, men den är lika rolig och underhållande och det förvånar mig att jag har fastnat för denna genre av böcker för det trodde jag inte för några månader sen. För genren romance brukar inte vara den genre jag gillar bäst, sen kan den vinna lite på att det handlar om Varulvar och gay-romance då de är två saker som jag har märkt fångar mitt intresse.

Captured, imprisoned, and … falling in love?

Jag är lite förvånad att jag har gillat att läsa/lyssna på denna duologi (ingår fler böcker i serien, men av dem jag lyssnat på hänger dessa två ihop mycket mer än del 3 sen vet jag inte om det kommer fler böcker i serien som kommer att handla om samma händelse som dessa eller inte.) då det är en gay-parnormal-romance med rätt grafisk beskrivning av sex (då jag inte är så förtjust att läsa erotiska sexscener då jag ofta upplever dem som pinsamma pga vilket språk författarna använder utifrån vad jag redan har läst gällande romanceromaner), men här har det inte varit pinsamt. Men det som har gjort att jag verkligen har gillat dem är humorn som finns i dem, plus den intressanta fantasyparanormala historien som utspelar sig på sidorna eller i öronen då det har varit ljudböcker. Ännu ett plus är att jag gillar även karaktärsbeskrivningarna och kärleken som föds mellan männen och man kan känna hur de bryr sig om varandra.

Denna bok blev jag tipsad av från den Australienska booktubern Noveltea Corner som läser mycket romance, och då jag tänkte att det kunde vara bra att välja en bok skriven av en Australiensk författare då jag behövde en ny ljudbok att lyssna på, då jag ännu inte hade bockat av det i Kaousutmaningen.

Då sen just denna genre inte är en genre jag brukar läsa så jag var jag lite nervös att jag inte skulle gilla boken, men den var riktigt bra och jag läste/lyssnade ut den på två dagar, och då var det 5½timmes lyssning som gällde. Sen var det nog inte riktigt så mycket romans som jag trodde efter vad jag hade fått för mig så det var väl det som gjorde att jag inte hade stora problem med boken då jag ändå är en stor fantasyläsare och jag gillar just varulvar och häxor i paranormala böcker.

Den kallaste flickan i Coldtown av Holly Black

Det är morgon och Tana vaknar upp i ett badkar. Det tar ett tag innan hon minns var hon befinner sig. Det var fest kvällen innan. Sista boken jag läste ut 2016, även om man skulle tro att man har tröttnat på Paranormal romance, i YA tappning, så var detta en bok jag gillade, Den hade en genomtänkt tanke både hur de paranormala karaktärerna skildrades och hur samhället tar hand om "problemen". Holly Black har lyckats med en skildring som fascinerar i alla fall mig.
