He has built a mansion and a school to flaunt his power to the local Portuguese administrator, but he abandons Ndani when he finds she's not a virgin. She eventually finds love with the school's teacher, but in tumultuous times, making a future with an educated black man involves a series of hurdles. Gör ett sammanslaget inlägg om de två Världen runt böckerna jag läste senast, då jag och Evelina frsöker att läsa en bok/per månad i vårt projekt att läsa en bok från varje land världen runt. Det var inte så att någon av dem stod ut och jag gav dem bägge ett lågt betyg 3 av 5 möjliga.

Novellerna som The gulf of Guinea bestod av var intressanta men jag kände som om jag skulle ha fått mer behållning av dem om de varit lite längre så att jag kommit in i handlingen.

Och The ultimate tradegdy, hade en bra start men mitten och slutet levde inte upp för mina förväntingar hela vägen även om jag det fanns vissa highlights i slutändan och även om jag kankse inte helt höll med om hur den slutade så var det ändå ett tillfredsställande slut utan alltför mycket frågetecken kvar.
