Sen första gången jag hörde talas om denna bok för ett antal månader sen, plus sen att jag hörde den var HUGO -awards nominerad ville jag läsa den, sen passar den ju bra nu efter Black lives matter rörelsen då den är skriven av en svart författare och handlar om en alternativ historia för de svarta havande kvinnor som slängdes av slavskeppen.
Sen valde jag att läsa den just nu också för att den passar in på ett tema i Fantasyathon som jag deltager i, både för orsaken jag nämner ovanför men även lite lesbisk kärlek eller i alla fall vänskap handlar den om.
Liten kort men intressant historia berättas och ska jag även säga det är en bra uppläsning då jag lyssnade på boken.
