Cleopatra and Frankenstein av Coco Mellors

 

New York is slipping from Cleo’s grasp. Sure, she’s at a different party every other night, but she barely knows anyone. Den här valde jag att börja läsa / lyssna på i augusi för att den var Ashas från Reading with Tobys favoritbok från 2022, men det var inte det bästa formatet för bok, så jag fastnade aldrig och blev engagerad i den.

Det tog sin tid all läsa /lyssna på den, då jag inte lyckades avsluta den förrän i år som andra boken för i år. Jag var lite mer invensterad i den på slutet, då jag lyckade hålla mig tillräckligt alert så att jag klarade hänga mig kvar och hängde med på vad som hände i den då jag lyssnade.

Jag tror denna bok hade vunnit på om jag hade läst en fysisk bok. 

Sen kan det även varit genren som var lite fel, då jag är mer än fantasy och science fiction läsare, än en samtida relationsdrama roman.
